Welcome to the 黑料论坛 Student Council, a dedicated group of student leaders committed to enhancing school life, fostering a positive school culture, and ensuring that student voices are heard. Our Student Council members work collaboratively to represent their peers, support school initiatives, and create meaningful opportunities for student engagement and leadership.

The 黑料论坛 Student Council is led by our Head Girl,听Eshaal Safyan, and Head Boy,听Omar Abushahin, along with elected student representatives from Grades 7鈥�12. Council members are selected through a fair and democratic election process, ensuring that they genuinely reflect the interests, perspectives, and aspirations of the student body.

Throughout the year, the Student Council plays an active role in organizing school events, promoting school spirit, supporting charitable and community initiatives, and celebrating the diverse cultures represented within our school community. Through their leadership, teamwork, and commitment to service, Student Council members help create a welcoming and inclusive environment where all students can thrive.

We are proud of the positive impact our Student Council has on school life and look forward to another year of student leadership, collaboration, and innovation at 黑料论坛.

Role of Student Council

The Student Council鈥檚 role in the school is to give student voice to the educational, academic, cultural and social/emotional activities that foster learning in the school. The students will vote one peer from each grade as a representative in the Student Council body. Of the representatives, the Student Council will vote to elect their secretary and treasurer. The student representatives in general, will help to plan and implement events.

All events and field trips will be vastly student led initiatives. The Student Life Coordinator will overlook, guide and mentor the Student Council to achieve their goals.

Student Engagement Initiatives Organize multiple events, including events celebrating National days, events focused on Numeracy and Literacy Development, Science Fair, cultural festivals, academic workshops, sports tournaments and etc.

Advocacy and Representation Hold monthly meetings with Student life coordinator, Ms. Khan and the administration to determine dates, budget, resources and logistics for the events. Meetings will also address student concerns, such as safety, academic flexibility, and transportation.

To initiate, implement, and complete events and activities which will be of help to the school, the students and the staff.
To develop and provide opportunities for leadership and collaboration within the school community
To contribute to the educational experiences of students by providing them with a positive involvement in the school, with widened areas of responsibilities and with more direct participation in organizing and implementing activities.
To promote an awareness of human relations, of power structures and how one effectively operates within them. These objectives are realistically approached through increasing avenues of cooperation among the administration, staff and students.
To promote respect for the rules and regulations as stipulated by MOE and the school administration, for the general welfare of the school community.
To provide a viable means for student expression and an increasing amount of self-direction.
To develop student potential and encourage to develop a well-informed, honest, interested and active citizenship.
To develop leadership for the community, for the school and for future opportunities. It is the objective to develop an awareness of good leadership qualities, for a more informed, concerned and active citizenry of tomorrow.

From cultural festivals and academic expos to leadership summits and sports galas, each event is thoughtfully designed to inspire and engage.

International Cultural Celebration Day

International Cultural Celebration Day is a highlight of our calendar. This event allows students to share their heritage through food, music, and performances, fostering an appreciation for diversity and inclusion within our school.

The Annual Sports Days

Where students showcase their athletic talents and engage in friendly competition, fostering camaraderie and school pride.

Bake Sales

Where students can indulge in delicious treats while supporting various school initiatives and charities. These events not only bring our community together but also encourage entrepreneurial skills and creativity among our student body.
